This Proverbial Life is an intimate 31 day journey through the book of Proverbs. 

We can all read the book of Proverbs on our own but let's be honest, it really does not have that awesome "story" quality that most of the other books in the bible have. It is choppy, so it is difficult to focus as we read it. 

Proverbs isn't meant to be read like a chapter book. It is meant to be read in bite-sized nuggets, studied, meditated on, digested and absorbed.

That requires focus, discipline and the diligence to study and search out the deeper revelation hidden within each word.

A few years ago I made a commitment to a friend to do a bible study online to help her with her own consistency. What I thought was going to be a simple thing (an extension of what I was already doing in my own study) turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I expected.

I sat myself down for a few hours EVERY DAY for 31 days to study out and then teach each chapter of Proverbs LIVE on Periscope...and might I add, I was not accustomed to doing live video at all at the time. It was terrifying. It was ALSO one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences I have ever had.

We all know that God wants us to grow in wisdom and we also know that Proverbs is His wisdom book.
