Most of us would not call ourselves worriers, however we'll admit that we get stressed about money and about problems at work and about our families. We all catch ourselves from time to time wondering how things are going to work out. Sometimes, if we are honest, we'll even complain and murmur about the issues we face.
Considering our blessings and gratitude journals are trending topics on social media for a reason. They do not come "naturally," they are a discipline and a worthwhile discipline at that.
In Matt. 6:25-34 Jesus addresses the issue of worry. In this passage of scripture He explains the futility of a believer wasting their time on worry. He reminds us that we have more clout in the kingdom than the birds of the air and the flowers in the field and yet they seem to have the wisdom to exercise their faith to believe that God will provide for their every need.
